Position Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Brisbane, CA
Years of Experience: 7+
Duration: Long term
Face to Face interview required(Locals only)
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Project Manager, this position will be responsible for
delivering large infrastructure and application projects. This position will
work with other team members to coordinate the schedule, identify the
dependencies and should be able to make decision when to bring-in
management/stakeholders to issues and roadblocks.
* · Manage mid to large project teams that range from software
developers, IT, DBAs and QA engineers
* · Rigorous scheduling at the task level, with overall
accountability at the program level
* · Help documenting processes and any related documentation to get
the team going
* · Proactive approach and communicate status to stakeholders
effectively, with an emphasis on maintaining alignment with core project
sponsors
* · Manage changes against project schedule, scope, as well as lead
the assessment of impact on the larger portfolio of projects
* · Successfully manage project dependencies and constraints
* · Positive team player who seeks the collective success of the
team
* · Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal
communication skills
Requirements:
* · Bachelor’s degree in Technology, or a related field
* · 7+ years professional experience with at least 3 years in
infrastructure project management
* · Strong influencing skills and ability to interact with senior
management
* · Experience delivering large infrastructure projects
* · Understanding or experience with the following: basic
networking concepts, virtualization, enterprise storage solutions, database
concepts, and web applications concepts
* · Understanding of release management processes
* · Experience working with many cross functional teams
* · Advanced Project Management experience developing and managing
WBS, schedules, scope, resource plans, issues, risks and change requests
* · Comfortable working in a very fast-paced, results-oriented
environment
* · PMP certification or training is a PLUS!
