*-All our requirements are Direct client Requirements.* *-Please Do submit only qualified profiles.* *-Please share the resumes only after you discuss with your consultant. * *Position: Software QA Lead (SQA) * *Duration: 12+ Months (On-going Contract) * *Location: Torrance, CA * *QA TEST LEAD will be responsible for the following: * Interface professionally with project teams and suppliers Determine the test approach to ensure high quality delivery to business Identify and raise risks to quality in projects and releases Determine test scope for projects and releases Prepare time estimates for all testing activities Facilitate and manage the project testing schedule Prepare and facilitate the implementation of test plans Prepare and execute test supplier contracts with appropriate test deliverables Manage the outsource test supplier resources (onsite and offshore) Review and evaluate test suppliers project deliverables for acceptance Facilitate approvals of test supplier deliverables and invoicing Evaluate project health from QA perspective during phase gate reviews Adhere to established processes and guidelines from Project Management Office and QA Center of Excellence *Experience with the following on large and small scale projects: * Managing a QA team involved in testing a variety of complex enterprise systems and interfaces with multiple data sources Development of test approaches / strategies for projects Hands-on experience with manual testing Reviewing and assessing Requirements and Design documents Determining testing scope appropriate to project Preparing, managing time estimates, evaluating and negotiating supplier estimates, and determining fixed bid deliverables needed for projects (SOW / WO) Reviewing supplier deliverables and providing feedback and direction to ensure deliverable quality Assessing and communicating Risk to schedule, cost, or quality on projects Preparing and managing the detailed project testing schedule Preparing and facilitating the creation and utilization of test plans Knowledge and experience in use of HP Quality Center, HP QTP / UFT and/or Selenium, and other standard QA tools Tracking and Managing defects through resolution Excellent communication (written and verbal) Ability to effectively manage 3-6 projects in various stages at the same time Ability to react to changing project plans and come up with creative alternatives Organizational and planning skills Analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment Taking initiative to locate appropriate resources and gather information as needed Ability to prepare and present project test status reports to management Understanding of basics of Performance testing Understanding of basics of Test Automation *DESIRED SKILLS: * Performance testing, Performance Center, Load Runner, Test Automation QTP, UFT and/or Selenium Security testing (system security roles and accesses) Configuration testing, COTS application testing SaaS and Cloud based testing HR & Legal system testing Accounting & Data Warehouse testing Hyperion (HEPM) Treasury system testing Middleware (Tibco) understand concept and how to test it Rules Engine understand concept and how to build scenarios around it Informatica Automotive Finance experience Please let me know if you need any more information.
