*9 Month Contract* *Rate is DOE* *1. **Must have 5+ years of experience building out IBM Infoshphere MDM (Master Data Management) server applications* *2. **Must understand how to extract data from DB2 databases using Informatica V9 (ETL) and linking them to the MDM Server* *3. **Must understand how to code XML (within the MDM process there is a data vault which is built in XML)* *QUALIFICATIONS: * *• At minimum, completion of an undergrad degree in computer science, data management, mathematics, statistics, or recognized equivalent required. Master’s preferred. * *• Minimum 8 years practical and related experience, including at least 5 years’ experience in end to end implementation of MDM solutions and 5 years’ experience in InfoSphere MDM Server Extension Framework and InfoSphere MDM Server Transaction Suite * • Experience in data analysis and data management, preferably within in insurance and/or financial services industry • Capability in data storage, database design, as well as manipulation, extraction, linking and analysis of data; • Prior experience working with data in the insurance or financial services industry; • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with partners and colleagues. • Advanced knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data collections and analysis techniques, statistics, and database development • Knowledge of maintaining and managing external and internal data resources to achieve project goals • Strong knowledge and experience with Informatica ETL, data storage functions, SQL, DB2, XML, Linux, mainframe and/or client/server • Strong statistical skills, including computational analysis using R and SAS; • Strong leadership and management skills and experience. • Project management skills and/or experiencing overseeing projects • Organizational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines; • Demonstrated problem solving skills; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; • Ability to coordinate and manage large diverse projects and teams; Postion to be located in Boston and/or Toronto, preferably Boston. Primary responsibilities • Collaborate with Data Architects to design and communicate complex data integration requirements. • Create and document logical Data Integration (ETL) strategies for data flows between disparate source/ target systems and the Enterprise Data Warehouse. • Collaborate with Data Architect, BI Architect and Lead Data Steward to develop a strategy to integrate BI with the corporate ESB and MDM initiatives. • Collaborate with the BI team on the development of data acquisition and archive recovery strategies Operational Management • Development of customized Data Integration Scripts, run scripts, make changes, monitor production jobs, and automate and schedule jobs • Designs and develops customized MDM code based on Specification. • Documentation such as Extension and Additions and Lightweight Services. • Designs and develops customized MDM services. • Designs and develops necessary batch interfaces to and from MDM hub • Development of Validation, Quality and Profiling Routines. • Work with project teams (Project Managers, QA Analysts, BSAs, Data Architects, Developers, Server Administrators, DBAs, Data Quality Analysts, BI Systems Analysts, and External Vendors) and business representatives to clarify requirements and decide on a technical solution. • Troubleshoot systems, and software; work with the DBA’s to performance-tune these applications as necessary. • Facilitate and/ or attend meetings related to projects to provide guidance on best practices and capabilities of the integration systems • Collaborates with other team members in the creation, documentation and implementation of flows, data mapping • Lead technical discussions impacting solutions and data integration technology *Regards,* *Rahman, * *Sr Resource Recruiter* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *703 246 1849* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
