We are looking for *Netbackup Administrator* for one of our client at *Georgetown, KY*. Please let me know your interest. *Backfill Position:* *Netbackup Administrator* *Location: Georgetown, KY* *Duration: 4 month contract* *Rate: $45/HR* Provide the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the Backup Environment. Design, develop, implement and ensure consistency, compatibility and reliability of all backup systems across multiple sites. Integrity of the systems is critical to ensure data protection across the enterprise. Manage duplication and vault jobs to limit exposure to data loss in case of a disaster. Provide periodic restore testing to guarantee backup data integrity. Provide daily maintenance, software and hardware upgrades and protect against restore failures and data unavailability. Optimize the backup system (Netbackup 6.5/7.x) for HP-UX, Solaris, AIX, Linux, VMware, Windows 2003/2008, and NAS. Configure and manage backup tape library units and disk based backup targets. *Requirements:* · Experience installing, upgrading and patching Netbackup servers and clients. · Thorough understanding of Netbackup and its components (Vault, Database Agents, etc). · Thorough understanding of backup and vault policy configuration. · Experience with SUN/STK tape libraries and LTO2-4 tape drives. · Experience with Data Domain or Sepaton disk based backup targets. · Extensive backup failure troubleshooting abilities. · Experience with IBM Domino, RMAN, and NDMP (NAS) based backups. · Experience working tickets through Symantec support. · Basic knowledge of VI text editor and UNIX operating systems. · Basic scripting abilities (KSH, CSH, BSH, DOS Batch, etc.) · Experience with Backup Reporter/Ops Center preferred but not required. · Experience with TSM backup software is a plus! *Must also have:* · Strong written and verbal communications skills required. · Strong project management skills required (status reporting, change management, etc). *Thanks & Regards* *Dev Chauhan* *International Technical Solutions (ITS)* D: 206-274-4684 F: 206-319-4579 dev.chau...@i-tecsol.com <himanshu.kak...@i-tecsol.com> Note: We respect your Online Privacy.
