*Summary:*
Working under the direction of the South Carolina Enterprise Information
System (SCEIS) Architecture, Design and Technology* *Lead, candidates will
provide business reporting services related to the design, installation,
administration, and testing of SAP Business Objects integrated with the SAP
ARRA solution. The major components of this project will include deployment
of Business Objects Enterprise, MS SQL Server, Data Federator, Universes,
Web Intelligence.
The SAP Reporting consultant requested under this SOW implements SAP
Business Objects and the SAP ARRA solution components. The position requires
a strong knowledge of the Federal OMB ARRA requirements and regulations for
1512 reporting. The position requires analyzing system and business
requirements, software installation, service patch administration,
configuration, testing and data warehousing strategies.

*Specific Duties and Responsibilities with experience specifically in public
sector:*
Integrate SAP Business Objects with the SAP ARRA Solution
Create a *high-level roadmap* of how to implement the SAP ARRA Solution
*Detail the roadmap* verifying the approach and conversion strategy
Develop a test plan to validate components once implemented
Install Business Objects software to include SAP Business Objects BI Package
and Analytical Information Management Package
Deploy the standardized content provided by the SAP ARRA solution
Make necessary modifications to the SAP ARRA standard content to build a
customized solution for the state of South Carolina
Create the database design
- Staging
- Mart
· Develop a secure FTP website to be used for uploading data into
the Business Objects ARRA solution.
· Develop processes and procedures for consolidating reporting from
multiple agencies into the centralized SAP ARRA solution, specifically
excluding SAP BW and ECC for the first phase.
- Data Services/Data Integrator definition to extract submitted data
from spreadsheets
- Assuming the files will be placed in a specific folder with required
naming conventions (TBD)
- XLS
- Must be converted from XLSX to XLS
- To include selected dimensions hidden in spreadsheet
- XML and WSDL
- RDMS data modeling and SQL Server Administration
Retrieve additional dimensional data
- US Census Data
- State and County FIPS
- FIPS to Zip code conversion table
- Population Data
- Poverty Levels
- Congressional Districts
- NAICS Hierarchy
- NTEE-NPC Hierarchy
- Provide a tool to retrieve additional agency information based on
the DUNS number for the agency
Create a high level dashboard
- General information by county
- General information for reporting agencies
- General information for elected congressional officials
- General information for citizens
- General information for businesses
Create detailed and summary reports to allow users to see the detailed
information behind the dashboard
Provide a potential mapping between our mart and the SAP ARRA Solution
tables.
Provide a universe against a Data Federator definition to allow future
expansions and modifications from disparate sources
Perform process and technical skills knowledge transfer sessions
Provide a delivery strategy for public users through the Infoview portal
Review Hardware Specifications and current landscape
Assist with ARRA website design and analysis
