Overall responsibilities of this position include developing work plans, managing deadlines and coordination of project team and sub-team activities. Successful candidates will be results driven and have demonstrated skills in determining project skills requirements, working with recruiters to identify appropriate resources, managing their integration into the team, setting and controlling scope, defining and agreeing on deliverables and milestones, communicating status and vision to client management and stakeholders, overall team management, budget management, and risk management. *Position Requirements* · 7-10+ years of demonstrated project management experience with at experience in rolling out existing client solutions/templates At least 8 years’ experience in SAP software and module integration Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively between IT and non-IT people. Ability to create and manage project work plans using Microsoft Project Ability to coach and develop people from diverse backgrounds within a client focused team environment Demonstrated analytical and decision making skills with the capacity to identify, understand and assimilate new information, determine its implications and develop appropriate solutions · Demonstrated well developed written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills when responding to and negotiating with clients both within and outside the organization Experience with onsite/offshore delivery model. Chemical industry experience preferred. MI certification preferred *Duties:* · Facilitates overall program progress tracking and status reporting tracking Facilitates and supports issue management, change control, quality and risk management and resource management Serves as focal point for project methodologies and SOX compliance Reports weekly project status Schedules regular meetings to review and approve project statusEnsures timely issue resolution and appropriate issue escalation Ensures resolution process is in place for gaps, issues, and risks Ensures alignment of IT direction and business objectives in the design and configuration of integrated system software Ensures project milestones are achieved Ensures appropriate priorities assigned to critical project tasks Provides guidance and knowledge transfer to Team leads in: Resource and time planning Development of project priorities, milestones and detailed plans Managing and controlling project scope and issues · Establishes and monitors compliance with standards for documentation, data, and training Monitors project costs to ensure budget adherence Monitors change management process within teams Monitors the quality plan in order to adhere to specified deliverables Development of detailed project plans and work schedules Responsible for team leadership and team building Develops detailed production cutover plan · Manages project milestones Resolves or escalating problems and/or risks in a timely manner · Demonstrated experience required in working with the following project related activities: · Project management Project deployment methodologies System integration concepts and controls (preferably involving SAP)Application testing strategies Development and documentation standards and strategies Data integrity strategies and controls Business continuity concepts and strategies Project change control procedures SAP enhancements and modifications SAP change control including SAP transports SAP support and escalation procedures SAP release and upgrade strategies *Job Level Specific Duties* · Leads development, support and maintenance of complex projects requiring a wide application of theories, concepts, and principles. · Prepares budget reports, assures timeline compliance and develops staffing models. · Review and approves project schedule and cost and time estimates for implementation. · Builds strong relationships with senior level managers within the customer to improve services and ensure service levels are achieved. · Works with customers / stakeholders to understand critical business success factors and key performance indicators to be managed. · Accountable for the technology environment and understanding of the customers’ business objectives to successfully lead the development team. · Manages the relationship with external 3rd parties (partners and vendors). · Ensure team follows development standard processes and procedures. *Typical Years of Experience* · Typically requires 8-10 years relevant experience.
