*1) .NET Developer * *Bloomington, MN* *6+ Months Contract* I will start interviewing acceptable candidates as soon as Monday March 9th. Ranked according to need: 1. JavaScript (JS Framework) – could mean experience in JQuery, AngularJS, ExtJS, KnockOut, etc… (there are others that I haven’t specifically worked with and I would still interview) When I say experience it has to be more than writing an alert. An example would be creating a prototype. I will be asking basic js questions. 2. C#/VB - working with the Server Layers OO, Logic Tier Architecture, Web Service API, CSLA 4.0 or Entity framework. I would expect not that they’ve just invoked the framework but have somehow modified it and can explain what they did and why 3. SQL performance / tuning 4. SQL skills – Stored Procedures, complex queries 5. Security – the application will be claims aware so understanding what that means and examples of having used tokens would be helpful This doesn’t have to be a senior level developer. I am looking for a person that has experience but more importantly understands and can explain the concepts. I can work with a jr that is not as experienced if the concepts are understood. Along with the resume, would you ask the person to rank themselves in the following? Just because someone ranks themselves lower in areas does not mean I will exclude them.
