times there may be upwards of 50 business stakeholders in a room and this
BA will need to listen, understand and define the business requirements
3-Candidates need to be able to distinguish the difference between Business
Rules and Business Requirements. They must be able to define/gather and
write both Business Rules and Business Requirements *



Job Description:

--Projects impacting the transactional systems are a policy administration
system and a claims system
--Part of a team--16 people on the team

Top responsibilities for this position-
--Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data
--Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review
and planning
--Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities
through analysis
--Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of
data and business process and implement when appropriate
--Skills with influencing others to get to end results, using crucial
conversations and emotional intelligence
--Ability to facilitate meetings effectively - with large audience and with
Sr. Leadership

Software tools/skills
--Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and
automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Skills Required -
1. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related
field or equivalent work experience
3. 5+ year of experience in business/finance analysis
4. Experience gathering requirements from the client/business and
documenting experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and
/ or evaluation of business processes required
5. Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and
automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

6. Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to
clients and the business in writing and verbally
7. Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research
conflicting and/or inaccurate data.
