*Position: Senior Oracle DBA* *Duration: 7 months * *Location: Richmond, VA, East Rutherford, NJ or Dallas, TX * *Local to Richmond, VA, East Rutherford, NJ or Dallas, TX* * U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders.* *Skills:* · *Oracle v11* · *Oracle RAC* · *Oracle Data Guard* * Qualifications:* · Requires a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Relational Database Administration and support of Oracle, SQL Server, or UDB/DB2. · Requires Vendor certification for product supported (Oracle, SQL Server, UDB/DB2) · Senior knowledge and experience with relational database architecture, database design, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, installation, customization, SQL programming and tuning. · Senior knowledge and experience with multiple Relational Database Management Systems and Distributed Operating Systems. · Senior problem analysis, determination, resolution and consultation skills. · Senior database security knowledge, experience and ability to consult with auditors and regulators. · Senior analytical, innovation and organizational skills to resolve highly complex technical problems. · Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to report findings, make recommendations and to interact with all levels of management and vendors. · Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related fields, or an equivalent combination of education and job-related work experience equal to 4 - 7 years. *Responsibilities:* · Provides Senior level technical support and expertise for Relational Database Management Systems on critical and highly complex financial systems within the Client. · Provides consultation and guidance to database analysts. · Performs database problem management, change management and maintenance working with both internal technical areas as well as business areas. · Supports Financial Service applications which require efficient communication and organization skills.
