Most of the Portlets are customized, especially for the Member Portal, ACA projects will be down the same path and need to be customized). · Experience working with JSR 168 and JSR 286 (at least worked on one project with JSR)-The biggest thing is from 286 which is the inter-Portlets communication piece. IT is the mechanism to communicate within multiple Portlets. *Job Description:* · Our client continues to roll out a new technology stack for portals. Prior to brining in the current team members they had no internal experience with Liferay. Now that they are developing new Liferay infrastructure and they want to follow current industry standards and ensure best practices. · The client is using the software Liferay for portal development regarding two of their websites. There is a full conversion taking place over these two websites. The goal of this project is to get the data that is displayed through these sites currently in a middle tier and have it available in a web Portlets application. · Liferay an enterprise portal, also known as an enterprise information portal (EIP) or corporate portal, is a framework for integrating information, people and processes across organizational boundaries. It provides a secure unified access point, often in the form of a web-based user interface, and is designed to aggregate and personalize information through application-specific Portlets. One hallmark of enterprise portals is the de-centralized content contribution and content management, which keeps the information always updated.
