*Position: **Sr. AEM Infrastructure Engineer*

*Location: **ATLANTA, GEORGIA*

*Duration:** 6 months *



*JD*

1.      Design and engineer AEM infrastructure in support of in-house and
third-party web applications including software framework and hardware
components.

2.      Provide continuing engineering for existing and future AEM releases
and addon services to meet product requirements from marketing / new
product development.

3.      Provide technical support and function as escalation point for the
operations team.

4.      Manage the lab environments for applications currently being
developed or updated.

5.      Interface with other design groups for networking, database and
storage aspects of web application design.

6.      Provide thorough engineering documentation for all web services
products, current and future.

7.      Lead in evaluating new services, products, and solutions that
integrate with AEM at the infrastructure level.

8.      Mentor web infrastructure engineers and web administrators in
understanding the AEM platform.

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

1.      Experience administering/supporting/engineering AEM/CQ5 technology
platforms. Experience must include designing an AEM environment that
leverages author, publish and dispatch instances for high volume (1+
million page requests per day) sites. (3+ years)

2.      Strong understanding of the AEM Authoring platform’s role based
permissions and have experience securing an AEM Authoring platform.

3.      Has implemented the Adobe AEM multisite manager addon.

4.      Strong skills working with apache and J2EE application servers in
large scale, multi-tier environments.

5.      Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a
collaborative team environment.

6.      Prior experience in engineering or operations in enterprise or
datacenter environments.

7.      Prior experience performing load test results analysis and tuning
AEM/CQ5 based on findings.

8.      Proven ability to acquire new technical skills quickly.

9.      Good working knowledge of firewalls, proxy servers and load
balancers. Should also have a solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and
protocols.

10.  Familiarity with OS and web application security standards and
techniques.

11.  Thorough working knowledge of J2EE, XML and Web 2.0 technologies.

12.  Prior experience implementing AEM or CQ5 in VMWare containers a plus.

13.  Prior experience with JSP, XHTML, CSS and Perl a plus.

14.  CA Siteminder experience is a plus.
