*Role: QA with Java Solr*
*Location: Sunnyvale, CA Duration: 6+ Months*
*Responsibilities:*
• Understand application functional & non-functional requirements and
Collaborate with developers to create test plan/cases
• Design and develop API scripts using existing Rest client API
using Java/XML language
• Integrate test scripts with Jenkins using TestNG or custom framework and
daily run the regression
• Fix and modify the scripts to keep up with DEV changes in TDD model
• Certify releases applying quality metrics and create detailed reports
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
*Requirements:*
• Experience with Java language and standard test tools,
e.g. Junit, soapUI, TestNG, Rest-Assured, rest client etc.
• Tools / Skills : Solr, Java, JUnit,
TestNG, Jenkins, XML, SQL Queries - Must have
• A functional understanding of HTTP and how it applies
to RESTful service testing
• Strong technical competency and experience with web
applications, web services and understanding of automated testing for API
• Understanding of cloud domain applications and platform -
Preferred
• Web Services knowledge with SOAP/JSON/RESTful API
experience
• Good to have skills : Unix, jMeter, Mac OS
