We are looking for a Systems Administrator provides system, technology, infrastructure and process analysis in support of the business strategy. The individual in this role works with IT and business unit partners to implement appropriate needs/solutions Primary Responsibilities • Is an expert at the Linux commandline • Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure and experience managing private/public clouds • Works with other IT groups and business units to install, configure and document software application • Expertise in distributed version control systems like Subversion and/or GIT. • Has good troubleshooting and debugging skills. • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Jenkins, puppet, chef, grunt) • Understanding of Release Management and Change Management best practices • Experience with continuous integration (Jenkins, load runner, JUnit) • Responsible for the installation, configuration, administration and security for company systems. • The ability and willingness to work on many different parts of our systems (Infrastructure, Operating System, Database, Application) • Provides issues/needs analysis and solution recommendation/implementation relative to systems administration needs • Able to provide on-call, emergency or implementation support outside of normal scheduled hours as needed Knowledge, skills & abilities: • Minimum of four years administering Linux/Unix services in production • System Administration expertise on both Linux and Windows • Administering java based platforms a plus • Expertise in distributed version control systems like Subversion and/or GIT. • Experience with Solaris 10 and 11 required. • Experience with Solaris Zones and LDOMs preferred. • Experience with Linux and VMware preferred. • EMC Networker experience preferred. • Availability to be on-call nights and weekends on a rotating basis. • Experience managing and configuring SAN • Strong technical knowledge across multiple systems and platforms • Familiar with Agile methodology • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Able to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines and work independently • Able to work well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment • Able to follow schedules and complete required documentation and reports “Nice to have” Experience: • Experience running high-volume Internet services • Contributions to Open-Source Software • Hybris experience • Knows at least 1 programming/scripting language Looking forward to hearing from you at the earliest!!! *Regards* *Shankar* Professional Recruiter 33505 State Street, Suite # 200 Farmington, MI 48335 *V* (248)-522-6879 *F* (248)-579-4454 *Linkedin: **www.linkedin.com/in/shkrajan* <http://www.linkedin.com/in/shkrajan> *Email** : **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Messanger**: [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Minority Certified and Woman Owned Enterprise* *TCI**- Technology Consultants inc* *Note:* *It is not a solicitation attempt!!!* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
