This is for my direct client opening for Microstrategy Developer- NYC, NY. This is a 6+ month’s contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. ** * * *Requirements* Responsibilities include: 1. 1. All aspects of Microstrategy developer functions for report design, generation, schedule and narrowcast setup 2. 2. Developing and modifying existing reports and participate in load testing 3. 3. Maintaining optimal performance, monitoring and tuning 4. 4. Managing migration of development, QA, production 5. 5. Troubleshooting report design 6. 6. Serving as a technical expert providing input to application architecture and design 7. 7. Interacting effectively with team members Skills: 1. 1. 3+ years hands-on development experience with Microstrategy 8.x or greated including Narrowcast, Desktop, Web, Architect and Administrator. 2. 2. Experience in Report development, Narrowcaster development and configuration skill 3. 3. Strong SQL skills. 4. 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 5. 5. Ability to work independently and in a team environment 6. 6. Strong support skills and the ability to learn new technology and concepts quickly Preferred skills: 1. 1. Sybase IQ 2. 2. SQL 3. 3. Informatica 4. 4.
