This is for my direct client opening for *Websphere Engineer **- Hartford, CT.* This is a *3+ month’s* contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE Description: Websphere Engineer needed, but we really need a consultant, who has a solid understanding of J2EE and its concepts. I want someone who will be able to provide guidance and direction to our application development teams, not from a coding perspective, but from a J2EE and best practices perspective. We will need someone who is familiar with SOA/SOI who can clearly discuss / describe what it is, why it (web services, etc) should be used and when. I am looking for someone who can also dig deep into application issues (from both an infrastructure and application perspective) to assist in troubleshooting and problem determination as well as recommend fixes.
