*Position: SAP ABAP ProgrammerLocation: Phoenix, AZDuration: 6-12 MonthsF2F is must - Local candidates preferred * JD: The SAP Programmer is responsible for production support, maintenance and enhancements of SAP HR/payroll ECC 6 system. • Gather information, determine alternatives, create requirements, functional/technical specifications, estimate development hours, create technical design, develop and troubleshoot ABAP programs to meet defined business needs • Develop and modify ABAP code contained in reports, BAPIs, user exits, function modules, RFCs and interfaces that adhere to coding standards • Proven experience in analyzing and debugging delivered and custom ABAP code • Interact with internal business customers and other members of the team on integration and re-engineering opportunities. • Ability to multi-task development, support and on-going maintenance projects and meet deadlines in a complex and dynamic environment • Deliver high quality, efficient solutions through innovative approaches to dynamic business processes • Proven ability to translate proposed business processes into correct SAP configuration • Must have SAP Payroll functional application knowledge, experience and a strong understanding of the integration points • Work with the project team to ensure that all SAP designs are correct and that customizations are only made as required by the business • Ensure that if customizations are required that solutions are created according to SAP best practices • Solve complex issues that arise with system operations, job monitoring, routine program modification, performance tuning or problem solving and participate in on-call rotation. • Define/implement workaround processes, corrective action, communication and system clean up activities • Formulate and execute positive and negative unit test plans and assist in developing system regression and performance test plans for enhancements or new releases in the various test and productive environments Qualifications • At least 5+ years of related *ABAP and HR / payroll *programming experience (FI experience a plus) • Configuration of SAP R/3 experience • Proven experience with payroll processes, payroll clusters, offcycle, 3rd party remittance, process models • The candidate must be effective in gathering requirements from the business users, know the appropriate SAP options and be able to strongly articulate the pros and cons associated with each option. • Desired Enhancement Pack experience for *ECC 6.0 */ Netweaver and Java, Javascript, XML, IDoc, Business Connector, SDLC Thanks! *Gurjant (Gary) Singh* Technical Recruiter Amerit Consulting, Inc. t 925.297.5994 | f 1.925.406.0505 [email protected] | www.ameritconsulting.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
