This position is with a Large Retail Client in MN. Candidates MUST have strong Oracle / Java / Data Modeling experience. *Tech Lead* *Duration:* 6+ months Contract *Territory:* MN-SW Twin Cities *Job Description:* *Open Box Tech Lead* *Business Overview: *Merch IT team; this team is involved in projects involving foundation data, pricing, offer management, and supply chain *Project Description:* This project is to build a new Open Box Pricing tool to optimize, model, and simulate pricing for Open Box product. *Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:* Overall lead application architect for the project. Responsible for solution approach and design. *What would a normal day for this position look like?* Project will be in an Agile/Scrum methodology. Role will entail direction interaction with business and IT teams. IT teams will include integration, infrastructure, database, application, security, and disaster recovery. Role will also be heavily engaged with developers who are building the new application. *Skills Overview:* *What are the MUST have skills that you are looking for in a candidate?* Scrum/Agile methodology; technical skills include Oracle DB, Java, Apptalk integration, SAS coefficient modeling; functional skills include Retail. Merchandising, Pricing, Retek Management System *What are the technologies and the depth of the technologies that a candidate must have in order to be successful in this role?* 1.
