*Position : Quality Analyst(Experience on scripting languages like Perl, Python)* *Location : San Francisco, CA* *Duration : 6+ Months interview : Phone / Skype ( If Local then F2F)* *Requirements:* - Strong experience in leading programs - Strong hands-on programming experience in C/C++, *scripting languages like Perl, Python* for at-least 3-7 years. - Strong experience in test engineering, including designing and implementing complex test plans, test designing and test cases creation and execution. - Experience testing software in multiple environments Windows, Linux, OSX, etc. - Experience testing apps on *Android and iOS.* - Experience is testing gaming apps or gaming is a plus. - Experience in system level testing. - Experience in the field of virtual reality is a plus. - Ability to achieve results, meet deadlines, and adjust to quickly changing priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment. - Excellent oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills, and a thorough approach to problem solving. - Demonstrated experience testing Dolby or similar products in the audio domain is a significant plus. - B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience. *Responsibilities: * - Conduct early project scoping including collaboration with research, marketing, and development teams, review of proposed technologies, development of test strategies, and contribution of proposals for testability. - Work independently for project planning, resource estimation, task split, test progress tracking, and coach and develop junior engineers. - You will need to do test planning including test design, test coverage, test approach, resource requirements, budget requirements, scheduling, risk assessment, and report metrics. - You will need to design, set up, configure and maintain software testing labs and environments. - You will need to report issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the development team to help isolate, debug, and resolve issues/bugs.
