*Job Description: *

·         A key role in overall software development lifecycle.

·         Reviews & Analyzes business requirements to produce functional
design.

·         Direct contributor in defining and determining functional design
of specific systems. Conducts system analysis, provide data as well as
impact analysis documents.

·         Works closely with UX engineer and provides input into final
screen designs, UX and information flow.

·         Owns and leads functional design discussions with key project
stakeholders (key interactions listed below).

·         Owns and manages functional design documents with requirements
traceability attached to it.

·         Accounts for internationalization, localization and globalization.



*Key Interactions include, but not limited to:*

·         Quality Assurance and testing team (consumers)

·         Application Developers & other technical team members (consumers)

·         Business PM and other stakeholders (for inputs)



*Key Responsibilities*

·         Responsible for defining systems function scope and objectives
based on Business Requirements and Project Scope

·         Analyze business requirements and or capabilities to produce
functional design document

·         Include Organization, Operations model and Business Process into
consideration while producing the functional design.

·         Develop epics and user stories based on defined capabilities,
requirements and design.

·         Ability to translate business problem / requirements into
technical terms and vice versa.

·         Lead and organize elicitation session / functional design
sessions (e.g. JAD, workshops, etc.)

·         Work with multiple stakeholders - IT & Business

·         Develop expert knowledge of in-house data sources & data domains.

·         Develop and sustain thorough knowledge of business process

·         Integrate new requirements into existing process and systems

·         Identify linkages and/or missing components for integration with
existing systems or process

·         Ensure all functional detail is included at a level of detail
that allows for technical spec creation, and test case creation

·         Obtain sign-off on functional design spec.

·         Collaborate with IT partners to engage all stakeholders,
particularly Business Team / SMEs / Product Owners, to prioritize work for
input into IT release planning

·         Support the project team in understanding the impacts
(functionality) associated to each release

·         Develop operation to system matrix to meet business requirements

·         Usability, End User perspective for functional design

·         Contribute / Drive both UI and UX deliverables.

·         Knowledge of software development methodologies

·         Maintain traceability of requirements from inception through
testing ("cradle-to-grave")



*Skills/Requirements*

·         *8-10 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis* on large,
complex projects

·         Experience with *Supply Chain and Distribution systems* and
business processes

·         Ability to translate complex business requirements into
meaningful scenarios

·         Ability to understand interdependency between technology and
business process impacting the organization

·         Ability to drive requirements discussions to root-cause and needs
analysis with key SME/Stakeholders/Users, and to engage the user community
in critical analysis of proposed needs and prioritization of same.

·         Ability to quickly and effectively ramp-up and acquire
industry-specific and company-specific knowledge

·         Analytical Problem Solving

·         *Data Analysis*

·         *Basic SQL Querying*

·         *UML*

·         Ability to work in different implementation methodologies *(such
as Waterfall, Agile)*

·         Excellent skills in interpersonal, written, and verbal
communication is required



*Other: Experience and Professional Education*

·         Proven ability in collaborative requirements elicitation,
planning of business analysis activities, and conducting all phases of
business analysis activities

·         Proven ability to estimate and measure the completion of business
analysis activities throughout the project.

·         Familiarity with applications Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio,
and Excel is required.

·         Familiarity with applications such as SharePoint is helpful

·         Evidence of formalized BA/BSA education or ongoing professional
education and/or membership
