Client has an opening for a Junior Release Manager in Philadelphia, PA. Candidates should have a background with Linux, and experience with Build/Release engineering management.
Junior Release Manager Location: Philadelphia, PA 6+ Months Contract Requirements: · Minimum (3) years of Build/Release Engineering management. · Experience with project management and build automation tools (Apache mvn). · Experience with Continuous Integration tools · Experience with Red-Hat based Linux systems for general administration. · Knowledge with deploying and supporting Web based j2ee applications/services. · Experience with clustering/load balancing solutions. · Experience with relational database management systems. · Familiarity with TCP/IP networking (including routing, dns, http, major protocols). · BS Computer Science or equivalent experience. Description: · Motivate the team and ensure that projects move forward with consistency. · Prepare detailed plans that identifies all tasks required. · Effectively facilitate and provide data and status in meetings/presentations. · Desire to succeed in high pressure environments.
