*Position: SAP BODS/BI Architect* *Location: Austin, TX* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Description:* · As a Business Objects Specialist you must have a strong background in SAP Business Objects 4.1 internals, configuration, processes, procedures and technology. · You must have had responsibility for modeling, configuration, implementation, and end to end testing of Business Object implementation for a large group or organization. · You must have in-depth knowledge about networking and firewall configuration with respect to Business Object webserver and app servers. · You must have knowledge and experience with both DW and BI security architecture, especially involving disparate platforms such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Active Directory (AD). · You must have experience developing processes and procedures in support of a large enterprise BI/DW environment. · You must be able to follow software development processes, prepare detailed documentation and generate work estimates in an SDLC environment. · You must be quality conscious and be dedicated to delivering quality products on time and on budget. *Responsibilities:* · Must be able to work with Business Customers, Section Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a professional and collaborative manner to define strategies and implementation approaches. · Must be able to work with the Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence and Data Administration Teams in a professional and collaborative manner to ensure that data models comply with organizational standards. · Must be able to develop processes and procedures for BI/DW infrastructure. · Must possess knowledge of project management methodologies both traditional and Agile/Scrum *Required Technical Skills:* · *7 years* of Extensive hands-on experience migrating SAP Business Objects implementations. · *7 years* of Expertise in sizing the BI Landscape with commanding knowledge on Web Servers (Tomcat/WebSphere/Apache). · *7 years* of Extensive knowledge of/experience with data integration, data quality, multi-dimensional design and ETL tools, processes and methodology · *4 years* of Experience with installation and configuration of Service Packs and Fix Pack's Plus configuring SSO with SSL · *4 years* of Extensive experience with highly complex BI security requirements, Load Testing, and Load Balancing. · *1 year* of Hands-on experience in migrating SAP Business Objects XI 4.1 from prior releases. *Preference:* · *3 years* of Proficient with the Microsoft Windows and Office products · *3 years* of *Public sector experience* (Federal, State or Local Government) · *2 years* of Experience working with IT and business customers · *2 years* of Experience with Business Objects LCM. · *2 years* of Experience working with F5 Load balancer. · *2 years* of Experience with BO server configuration, performance tuning. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
