*Project Description:*

 *Position Overview:*



*Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:*

-          Work with service managers on implementation and change risk
assessment

-          Help with change management of the refresh

-          Coordinate system impact and ensuring all internal teams are
aware of the change and helping with UAT

-          Mapping servers to applications, and talking to middleware,
platform etc. teams to align to the change

-          Negotiate between teams to align to one process and timeframes

-          Conducts requirements gathering sessions and requirements
hand-off/review sessions with Business stakeholders and technical
development team

-          Ensures that project requirements are gathered, documented,
approved and managed

-          Responsible for high-level design, user stories and/or uses cases

-          Develops system to system data mappings for back-end and front
end processing utilizing Visio

-          Understands business processes and translates to system
requirements

-          Assists with system tests to ensure that requirements are met in
the solution

-          Works closely, and foster good working relationships, with the
Business

-          Perform feasibility analysis

-          Developing As-Is and To-Be Process Flows

-          Non-Functional Requirements gathering and documentation

-          Test Case reviews

-          Waterfall projects





 *What would a normal day for this position look like??*

-          Working closely with PM, Architects, and other BA.

-          Daily Meetings – ability to be professional, personable, and
communicate well while in the meetings with high level stakeholders over 30
+ carriers

-          Documentation of requirements

*What are the MUST have skills that you are looking for in a candidate?*

   1. 8+ years BSA specific experience
   2. ITIL experience
   3. Network infrastructure experience 3-5 years
   4. Writing data requirements sequence diagrams/process flows, detail
   functional specifications (data): looking at data points sent to teams and
   received, and the business rules behind data points
   5. Transactional workflow application experience
   6. Process framework, business framework helpful skillset to have
   7. Must have extensive data analysis/mapping experience
   8. Excellent meeting facilitation skills and negotiation skills– CRITICAL
   9. Ability to run a room without authority- CRITICAL
   10. Self-sufficient/self-starter – CRITICAL
   11. Works well with Project Managers and requires little direction/takes
   initiative – CRITICAL
   12. Fast and efficient, but thorough and methodical
   13. Superior time management skills
   14. Produces high-quality work, thinking through all scenarios and
   ensuring complete coverage of requirements
   15. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
   16. Ability to multi-task, work on several projects simultaneously
   17. Experience writing requirements for large system integration projects
   18. Experience working with Offshore development team- Critical

>From the manager needs to have:

-          ITIL background working with Infrastructure and application
teams, specifically understanding of how CMDBs are created and maintained

-          Ability to negotiate change windows with multiple teams based on
risk (technical and business)

-          Understanding of OSI 7-layer model or similar model and proven
ability to map infrastructure and applications to said model for change
management

The candidate will be using the skills below to help us understand parties
involved in our required changes.

They need to use our CMDB and other configuration documents we give them to
contact server owners.

This is why they need to understand there are at minimum; a physical layer
(network) – a server layer – an application layer – involved in our project
changes.



*What are the technologies and the depth of the technologies that a
candidate must have in order to be successful in this role?*

-          Visio

-          Network technologies: switching, routing, load balancing,
firewalls

-          ITIL experience

successful in this role?*
