Microsoft Dynamics AX Portland Oregon 6 Months Contract H1s are fine Seeking a Temporary AX Programmer Analyst (duration about 6 months) for our world headquarters located in Portland, Oregon. the world leader in the design and manufacturer of innovative, high quality, compact, multi-purpose tools.
The successful candidate for the Temporary AX Programmer Analyst will review, analyzes, and modifies the programming systems including encoding, testing, troubleshooting and debugging to support Client’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3. The Software Developer is involved in the planning, design, development and execution of various integration and innovation initiatives to support efforts to automate business processes utilizing technology. The Software Developer’s primary role will involve troubleshooting and development in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 including coding in X++ and developing SSRS reports. The ideal candidate must be able to: · Attend discovery meetings and collaborate with Business Analysts on various projects with the essential function of developing programs that meet customer requirements and specifications. · Review and analyze computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations to determine if requested programs or program changes are possible within the existing systems. · Perform all aspects of software development life cycle activity. Specifies inputs, where the inputs are coming from (systems internal or external to organization) and determines how to integrate with existing or new technology. · Coordinate and perform tests as well as diagnose problems, recommends solutions and determines whether program requirements have been met. · Review and provide input for user documentation. Create and test prototypes. Integrate subsystems with ERP system. · Perform unit testing and rework code. Revise and adapt existing code. · Maintain documentation on all enhancements and modifications to ERP system. · Perform other related duties as required or assigned. Experience and Education Requirements: · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience in programming required. · Minimum 5 years of systems development experience with modern programming languages required. · Minimum of 2 years of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 development experience required. · Minimum of 2 years’ experience developing SSRS reports for Dynamics AX 2012. · Extensive knowledge of X++ development in Dynamics AX including experience with AIF. Functional understanding of Dynamics AX modules – demand planning, order management, procurement, manufacturing, warehouse/shipping and accounting. · Knowledge of C#, Web Services, Web Development and Visual Studio toolset preferred. · In depth knowledge of relational databases and SQL Server. · Familiarity with manufacturing operations helpful. · Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships and teamwork required. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to establish and maintain effective relationships with various other departments. · Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative. · Effectively organize, prioritize, plan and follow through on multiple complex assignments and projects.
