Please let me know if you have a Veritas Administrator available for a 2 week project in Raleigh, NC. Would prefer to have a candidate that is already in the NC area. The RATE is open at this point - need someone that can start right away and be commited for a 2 week contract assignment. *Location:* Morrisville, NC *Term: *2 Weeks *VERITAS Administrator* * * *Job Description:* In this short-term capacity, individual must be able to work on a team with an overall goal of replacing a disk array nearing capacity at several sites in India. This individual will need to work around installation and other project related activities until their portion of the procedure becomes available. All work will be conducted in Morrisville so no travel is required. The *customer already has 5.0 in their environment, but when we install our platform in their network and VERITAS will need to be re-installed. TKLC is replacing (competitor’s) existing equipment in our new customer’s network. *** Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: - Work with Customer Service department to develop and test procedures to replace disk array at various customer locations in India - Perform simulation and testing activities using on-site lab in Tekelec’s Morrisville facility - Must be flexible to work day or night (depending on customer’s scheduling expectation) to execute procedure *Summary of Qualifications:* - Excellent ‘Customer’ skills required - Must have strong Sun Solaris 10 experience. Sun hardware experience, platform V490. - Must have strong Veritas VxVM 5.0 *administration* experience - Must be able to install, configure and troubleshoot VxVM issues.
