*Duties*:
· Develop, design, maintain, and execute Quality Assurance (QA)
software testing procedures, and handle verification and validation
activities for production modifications and implementation, including
projects, releases, and changes.
· Participate in Business Process Delivery (BPD) Project Delivery
Process for each assigned project.
· Confirm whether requirements can be utilized to write
comprehensive Test Plans/Test Cases. Review design documents for software
system impacts assessment, and maintain document template libraries and
internal project documentation.
· Design, execute, and review Functional Test Plans to ensure
adequate testing coverage of requirements, software functionality, and
adherence to business requirements and Project Delivery Process.
· Ensure types of testing (i.e. SIT, Functional, Performance,
Security, E2E, UAT, BVT, Regression, and PVT) are executed meet documented
testing standards and procedures.
· Responsible for test strategy and scripts, walkthrough with
Project Leads, conditioning of test data on TSYS Mainframe through Visual
Basic scripts per test scenarios, and writing SQL queries to retrieve data
from test environment.
· Stage batch jobs based on engine requirements and schedule, update
file layout based upon requirements, and review batch validation of test
files, using UNIX.
· Coordinate integration of new functionality to existing legacy
system, integration testing of cross-functional systems, and tracking code
push and planned migrations for management of testing schedules.
· Produce Quality Metrics and Quality Scorecards, and responsible
for maintenance, training, and communicating tools to support product
development process, including capacity planning, budget tracking,
monitoring testing standards and resolution efforts, and procedures.
· Assess and identify project risks and program functions for
testing, make recommendations, participate in internal processes and
procedures for improvement projects, and identify efficiencies and cost
savings measures.
· Coordinate and collaborate with QA Leads, Project Managers,
Development Managers, and QA Core members, to provide QA services to
support process users.
· Audit peers for adherence to QA methodology, audit reconciliation
processing, review source code to ensure adherence to standards, and assist
with automation.
*Person Specification*
(Personal attributes essential to performing role: e.g. skills,
competencies, expertise, knowledge, experience. Note: experience not to be
time-bound)
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar discipline or
foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or
closely related technical discipline.
· 5 years of post bachelor’s progressive experience in the position
offered or as a Project Manager, Quality Assurance/ Analyst, Programmer
Analyst, IT Consultant or closely related position.
· Knowledge of Software Testing tools such Quality Centre to create
Test strategies/Test Cases and retrieve data from Test environment required
· Knowledge of TSYS Platform is a preferred.
· Knowledge of SQL, QTP, VB Scripting is a plus
· Knowledge of Credit Card Pricing Support and Management and End to
End Campaign testing on TSYS required.
· Knowledge of Commercial Card functionality is a plus
· Alternatively candidate can have customer marketing experience with
extensive QA in customer experience domain
