Location : Easton, PA Duration : 6-12 months PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES a.. Perform complex system design and program development activities required to complete projects as approved by management. b.. Serve as primary liaison with key users in specific functional areas of the business. c.. Provide project and technical guidance to other members of IS or consultants assigned to work on a specific project or functional area. d.. Complete projects as assigned by Applications Manager. e.. Develop systems documentation in accordance with current IS Standards for new applications and update older system documentation as system updates are performed. f.. Develops system controls and ensures that backup and security are in place for systems. g.. Assists Operations with the development of a disaster recovery plan and supports Operations in the execution of the plan as needed. h.. Works with Operations to ensure that systems are transferred to a production status once the new system has been implemented or an older system has been upgraded TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: (Technical abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.) a.. PL/SQL programming b.. Unix Shell Scripting c.. Installing and Configuring Siebel Enterprise and Web Servers d.. Designing Siebel interface Architecture e.. Siebel EIM (tool to import/export data) f.. Siebel Report Writer (Acuate) g.. Siebel Tools Configuration h.. Siebel Workflow Configuration i.. Siebel Assignment Manager j.. Siebel VB or Siebel JavaScript JOB SPECIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.) a.. Minimum of 7-10 years experience in Systems & Programming. b.. Working Knowledge of Siebel Trade Funds Promotion. c.. Good Understanding of Crayola's Forecasting Methodology as used in Siebel. d.. Experience working with School Bids and consumer products module. e.. Understanding of the Authorized Distribution List (ADL) in Siebel f.. Exposure to the Hierarchical accounting structure in Siebel g.. Working Knowledge of Siebel Reporting structure, views and security h.. Ability to research and resolve issues independently in response to Heat Tickets. i.. Experience responding to support calls in a highly visible environment. j.. Prior experience in design of complex systems. k.. Prior experience as project leader on programming development project team. l.. Four years college or equivalent experience. m.. Experience in developing and implementing database and on-line and distributive processing applications. n.. Knowledge of Siebel technology including Tools, EIM, Business Services and Data Base architecture. o.. Experience integrating/interfacing Siebel with SAP is a huge plus. p.. Good verbal and written communications skills. q.. Sound understanding of standard business processes. r.. Demonstrated ability to work in a team & matrix environment.
