*Position : Business Analyst * *Location : Manhattan , NY * *Duration : 6-8 Months * *Face to Face Only * *Job Description* ยท Business Analyst in New York, NY, who can work collaboratively with the project manager, business unit staff, other business analysts, designers, developers and testers to help ensure that user needs are effectively identified and translated into requirements/specifications for a successful business solution. *Skills Required* - 7+ years of progressive overall Information Technology experience - Experience in *complex Government/Public Sector organizations* - 1-3 years of prior experience working as a business analyst, preferably for or within a New York City government agency or other city government organizations - Advanced skills in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (will be asked to *produce a sample of deliverables* from prior work). *Job Responsibilities* - Elicits *functional requirements* through meetings and interviews with business unit staff, review of available documentation, site visits and requirements workshops - Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements - Prepares *business process descriptions/workflows* and conducts analyses to identify potential process efficiencies - Prepares use cases, user stories or other requirements documentation requested by the project manager and reviews with end users to confirm accuracy - Translates approved business requirements into *functional specifications* for the IT organization - Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization throughout the application development life cycle, to help ensure technical solutions meet user needs. - Reviews change requests to ensure appropriateness and overall application consistency and updates documentation to reflect approved requests - Assist with *user acceptance testing* - Define the process for User Interaction and document functions and processes. - Analyze the feasibility of and develop requirements for the *new site and mobile application*. - Ensure that the *system design* fits the needs of the users. - Track and document changes for functional and business specifications. - Assist in developing an overall change management strategy. - Conduct the change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes. - Document business rules, functions and requirements. - Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality. - Create process flow diagrams. *Regards , * *Pawan * *Technical Recruiter * *VSG Business Solutions* *Phone: 302-261-3207 x 109* *Email : [email protected] <[email protected]> * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
