*Position : Sr. Oracle RAC DBA * *Location : Mechanicsburg, PA * *Duration : 5+ Months * *Phone / Skype (F2F if Locals) * *Job Description* · This position will build and maintain enterprise database solutions and will routinely work with vendors, project managers, system administrators, application developers and end users in order to maintain and improve the performance of our servers, databases and applications in support of various service level agreements *Must Have* · Bachelor’s Degree or higher · *Oracle DBA Certification * · 8+ years of *Oracle Database Administration* · 5+ years of *multi-terabyte Oracle RAC*, Grid and ASM database installation and support experience · Experience working with *Oracle versions 11gR2, 11gR1, 10g and oracle databases that run on Unix/Linux operating systems* · Experience in Oracle Database Performance and Tuning using statspack, AWR, ADDM, ASH and Unix tools · Experience building and managing Data Guard Physical/Logical Standby Databases using Data Guard Broker · Manages Database Backup & Recovery Procedures / Disaster Recovery exercises using RMAN and other tools such as Net Backup, NetSnap Manager, etc. · Follows, defines and manages enterprise level policies, procedures and monitoring solutions that ensure the security, performance, optimization and integrity of multi-terabyte Oracle database environments · Designs, implements and maintains physical and logical database solutions · Anticipates and resolves database performance, capacity and replication issues · Fully capable of programming and database performance tuning using SQL, triggers and stored procedures · Understands standard concepts, practices and procedures relating to database and associated technologies · Produces reports on database systems related to availability, performance, capacity management and SLAs · Collaborates with SAN, server, applications and operational staff in support of database objectives · Assist development staff with application design and efficient use of database technology · Supports project plans and schedules relative to database requirements *Nice to Have* · Informix Database Administration Experience · Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration Experience · Universe Database Administration Experience · Strong scripting skills (SQL, Perl, Shell, etc.) · Strong understanding of Unix operating systems, SAN, networking and overall system design · Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment *Regards,* *Abhishek Bhartiya* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business solutions* *221, cornwell Dr,Bear,DE 19701* *Contact No: 302-261-3207 EXT: 107* *Email: [email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
