*Job Description*
· In this role as a designer, you will be doing SharePoint
design/development to build and test an Integrated Operating System (IOS)
which will connect all CMMI process area documentation. You will be a part
of the Enterprise tools and delivery team - 12 people - and will work
closely with the delivery framework/process and practice team
*These are the top 5 to 10 responsibilities the successful candidate is
expected to do or complete on a daily basis:*
· Implement SharePoint intranet and other intranet sites and
solutions.
· The role is responsible for designing, coding,
maintaining/administering and modifying intranet websites, from layout to
function and backend administration.
· Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature
user-friendly design and clear navigation
· Help drive delivery practices and process design work
within the organization for usability, collaboration, and findability.
· Design and implement the taxonomy as needed across
platforms (SharePoint, Jive, Confluence)
· Design and develop SharePoint 2010 and 2013 solutions by
using out-of-the box features to create custom pages, site templates, brand
SharePoint sites.
· Use best practices in user design initiatives and write
and/or critique process documents
*These are the software tools/skills/attributes that are needed and are a
“must have” to perform these daily responsibilities: *
· 5+ Years’ experience with UX/UI web design
· Knowledge of html, CSS and JS
· Experience hi & lo fi prototyping
· 2+ Years’ experience with SharePoint designer 2007/2010
*These are the skills/attributes that are a nice to have:*
· Experience with creating and updating Jive/OneConnect
intranet site designs
· Experience with Confluence wiki design and maintenance
· RallyDev and LearnSource background helpful
· Agile and System Delivery Lifecycle background helpful
