*Very Urgent req-HOT-HOT-HOT* *Position : Cognos TM1 Consultant* *Location: Stamford, CT* *Duration: 4 weeks* *Rate: DOE* ** *Cognos TM1 Consultant / Subject Matter Expert - The role is focused on the critical rollout of a TM1 capability for Financial planning and reporting. * * * *Duties and responsibilities:* - Take the *Cognos TM1* product forward - Analyze and document business requirements -- ensure their needs are met for budgeting and reporting - Collaborate with functional and IT teams to help determine appropriate process/technical design and ensure proper controls are incorporated - Work side by side with implementation to build cubes/dimensions/hierarchies and develop supporting TI processes/rules/ETL/SQL/reports - Participate in determining standards and best practices - Coordinate/conduct end user training and acceptance testing - Transfer functional/technical knowledge to internal teams - Monitor and promote the effective use of application - Manage and monitor application access to ensure security policies. * * *Key Skills:* - Expert Cognos *TM1 *skills & experience ideally as a *Business Analyst, Developer or Consultant* - Experience in full life-cycle of project development including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Rollout, Implementation, and Training - Experience implementing for driver based financial planning/forecasting models - Strong communication skills both verbal and written, delivery of internal consulting and training is required - Ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to priorities despite conflicting requests - The tenacity to complete tasks - Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement. - Self motivated, be able to work independently as well as being a team player - Strong client service focus and willingness to respond to queries and provide deliverables within prompt timeframes - The ability to work closely with a range of business areas, A strong appreciation of key business drivers and an understanding of the IT impact upon the business - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Cognos TM1 product certification a strong plus. - Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning - Cognos Business Intelligence tool - Ability to foster client relationships and working relationships with peers - Excellent analytical and research skills - Self-starter with ability to work on projects with minimum supervision while adding value to cross functional teams Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
