Serve as a Lawson expert in the particular areas: COBOL, Unix, Java Script, Lawson Security, Lawson LBI, Lawson Processflow and Lawson Smartnotes. 2. Manages incoming incidents and enhancement requests regarding Lawson and other Business Systems applications and supports coordination across IT departments in trouble-shooting/resolution. 3. Serve as programmer/analyst on small, mid-size and large projects within the Business Systems portfolio. Expected to deliver high-quality Business Requirements, System Requirements System Design documentation and System Development. 4. Works closely with business and technical leadership serving as an expert resource, bringing forth opportunities to leverage technologies to better the business, resolve emerging enterprise requirements, and influence decisions regarding any business process change. 5. Works on highly complex business issues, which have significant impact to the enterprise and across enterprise processes and functions. 6. Identifies and develops methods to efficiently reutilize and exploit existing components. 7. Evaluates and prioritizes requests for product changes and enhancements. 8. Ensures successful transfer of knowledge from the Business Systems team to other process teams and all employees. 9. Works closely with Business Systems leaders to bring forth opportunities to leverage technologies to improve operations across all business functions, resolve emerging enterprise requirements, and influence decisions regarding business system process change. 10. Works closely with Business Systems leadership to prepare and document product solution roadmaps. 11. Effectively communicate goals and desired outcomes to fellow team members 12. Works on complex finance, procurement and/or human resources issues, which have significant impact to the enterprise and across enterprise processes and functions. 13. Highly motivated, success oriented, organized and strong work ethic *Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): 1. Knowledge:* B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development/support environment Strong experience in programming and analysis Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle *2. Skills:* Prior experience with Lawson Software and attention to detail Strong experience with COBOL Strong experience with Unix and Unix Scripting Experience with JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and XML Experience in strategic planning, development, implementation and maintenance of Business applications Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to learn new technical skills Highly motivated, results driven with strong work ethics *3. Abilities:* Ability to be self-directed and interact effectively as either a leader or as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments. Ability to perform thorough analysis with a strong emphasis on critical thinking abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines and deliver high quality products.
