* Position : SAP Basis Admin * *Location : Bay Area, CA * *Duration : 6+ Months Phone Hire !!!* *Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* - Installation, configuration, maintenance and support of multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools. - Optimization of the overall SAP reliability, availability and performance of the entire SAP landscape - Promoting application and system code within the SAP landscapes and adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements such as segregation of duties. - Technical consulting support for SAP implementation project teams or sub-teams. - Provide senior-level technical hands-on support for project and production support issues. - Provide day-to-day SAP, Oracle, and infrastructure support including "best practice" procedures for SAP Oracle administration. - Perform troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues that impact system performance or availability. - Perform system refreshes for QA, development, and training systems. - Perform technical Upgrade and deploy downtime reductions techniques to reduce technical downtime of upgrade & resolve upgrade related technical issues. - Hands on experience in performing complete SAP & Oracle Installations, Version upgrades, support-pack upgrades, system copy, client copy, production maintenance and Project cutover activities - Identify and highlight risks and propose mitigation plans. - Perform SAP transports using STMS, CHARM and CTS+ necessary *Required Skills* - Must have Minimum 8+ years of SAP Basis & Oracle Database experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems. - Thorough knowledge of SAP Netweaver technical architecture and has experience in supporting and maintaining multi-landscape environments - Experience in ECC, PLM, APO, BW, GTS, PI, EWM, Solution Manager, BOBJ, NWBC, SSO & Portal - Participated in at least 2-3 full lifecycle global implementations - Experience in SAP configuration, analysis, performance tuning and troubleshooting both ABAP and Java stacks on Linux & Windows Operating Systems - Strong Oracle DBA skills which include database tuning, backup/recovery and restore tasks using BRTOOLS, Net Backup, SNAP Manager etc. - Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills, Support end Users, technical and functional teams for any requests & issues - Good understanding of running SAP and Oracle in a fully virtualized environment (VMware) Can do attitude, Aptitude to learn new things quickly, and excellent team player – key requirement for this position *Required Experience* - Minimum 10+ years of IT experience with 8+ years of SAP Basis experience with at least three of the following products: ECC, PLM, APO, BW, GTS, PI, Solution Manager and BOBJ. - Minimum 6 years of experience with Linux and/or Unix Operating Systems and Oracle databases *Regards,* *Abhishek Bhartiya* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business solutions* *221, cornwell Dr,Bear,DE 19701* *Contact No: 302-261-3207 EXT: 107* *Email: [email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
