Knowledge of *Sun One Directory Server, MIIS or equivalent identity replication technology*. Understanding of protocols such *as LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM and DNS* is desired. Strong Visual Basic, Perl and/or other scripting skills is required. Practical experience with Merck-accepted tools for software configuration management, change management and system lifecycle practices. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated accomplishments in achieving shared objectives in a global organization together with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams. *Responsibilities:* Responsibilities: The position's basic functions and responsibility in support of Merck's IAM infrastructure include: Provide functional design and engineering functions for the *Sun Identity Manager and Access Management environment.* Development and updates to the Microsoft MIIS environment and Microsoft Visual Basic development.
