*Cisco / Contact Center Systems Software Programmer* Downtown Mnneapolis, MN Open to CTC, CtoH, and Perm. *The length of contract is between 4 and 6 months with extension possible.* *Client Information Technology (IT) department is currently seeking an IT Enterprise Contact Center Systems Software Programmer. This position will primarily provide Tier 2 and 3 programming capacity in the Enterprise Contact Center Environment, capturing requirements, developing, testing, implementing and supporting complex custom IVR and ACD applications for our customers.* The Client delivers innovative, effective, and timely business-driven information technology solutions in a secure, reliable, accessible, and fiscally responsible manner. The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include: Assist in the definition and programming of moderately complex systems software, such as utility programs, job control language, macros and subroutines, job accounting routines and other modules developed internally Process MACs in the Cisco call center scripting environment Work with higher level systems software programmers on more complex projects Modify, test and debug vendor-supplied system software Evaluate new software and hardware Recommend standards for use of systems software *Best Qualified Candidates will have:* *One of the following:* Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science and/or closely related field and one year or more of systems software programming experience in (*a) design and maintenance of data bases, (b) operating system software using an assembler level language, (c) computer system capacity planning and computer performance analysis, and/or (d) data communications* Associate's or vocational/technical certificate in computer programming and three years or more of programming experience, including at least one year of systems software programming experience described above Experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to equal five years or more Experience *scripting in the Cisco, UCCE and IP-IVR environment* Experience providing customer service using call center applications Experience gathering requirements in a collaborative manner, producing specifications and design in a contact center environment *Experience in the following Cisco VoIP components: ICM, ACD, CAD, IP-IVR and Call Manager* Invitations to interview will be based upon an assessment of education and experience.
