Location: San Francisco Term: Long Term *The candidate must have experience performing software testing on mobile and web interfaces as well as back-end systems.* The candidate will be expected to develop test plans and execute them based on system requirements documents, UI examples, and requirement gathering with the program managers and engineering team members. After developing test plans the candidate will be expected to perform the testing. The candidate will be expected to troubleshoot and triage issues that are identified, and submit appropriate bugs. The candidate should be familiar with standard software engineering practices and able to converse with very technical engineering team members. A preferred candidate would also possess some experience programing Android tests, or have Java and Java testing experience. The position includes opportunities to create automated testing for web and back-end systems, and a candidate with these skills would add significant value. Requirements: · 6+ years testing experience · “Self-Starter” - able to work with limited supervision and direction while working in a collaborative environment. · Extensive experience in developing test plans · Extensive experience working in LINUX environment · Strong communication skills (analysis, requirements gathering, troubleshooting) · Strong troubleshooting skills · Ability to understand code and work directly with software engineers · Recent manual testing experience · Experience working with large, complex products and teams · Comfortable engaging on projects for short periods, adding value, and then moving on to another related project.
