*2 Positions – Java Developers Needed* *Charlotte, NC – candidates should be local to NC or Charlotte, NC* *3 month contract positions* *Accepted candidates can be US Citizen, GC, EAD or H1 * *Bill rate: $40.00* *Start Date: ASAP* *Interview Process – will be phone and face to face interviews* * * *Sr. Java Developer will be engaged in design, development, and testing activities throughout the IT project lifecycle (as detailed below) including technical design, development, testing, and support. The Sr. Java Developer will be responsible for application development and providing technical expertise for a variety of application development and support efforts. Work directly with Application Development Manager, Systems Analysts/Designers, Business Analysts, and other Application Developers to develop and integrate software solutions.* *Successful candidate will perform the following:* - *Analysis*: Interpret documented business requirements, assist in evaluating technical alternatives, and develop appropriate solutions. Help determine level of effort and time required for development activities. - *Design*: Participate in technical design of application software and integration to ensure business requirements are properly translated and satisfied. Analyze database schemas, data models, and data integration requirements. Develop detailed technical design documentation. Assist with system design reviews. - *Development*: *Code Java applications, servlets, and other applications as defined. Participate in code reviews. *** - *Testing*: Conduct unit testing and systems integration testing. Assist with development of test cases and scripts as needed. Participate in analysis of testing results. Assist with troubleshooting and providing recommendations for remediation. - *Implementation*: *Assist with documentation to guide implementation and ensure proper setup of production environment (i.e., User guides/procedures, training documents, recovery procedures, etc.). Provide guidance during implementation and deployment as needed.* - *Additionally*: Effectively partner with business analysts, architects, operations, and other IT personnel to deliver solutions. Resolve issues quickly and effectively to enable development and support of applications. Follow standard software development best practices relative to design, development, testing, and implementation.
