*Please send resume to **[email protected] <[email protected]>* Job Title: Access/VB Developer Location: Albany, NY Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Client: State of NY / DOH Rate: $45-50/hr C2C Note: Need 2 references Maternal Mortality Review (MMR) Initiative The goal of the MMR initiative is to ensure a comprehensive review of factors leading to maternal deaths in NYS, and to have sufficient information to develop strategies and interventions to decrease the risk of these deaths. Continued upload of new birth and death data from Vital Statistics and new hospital records from the Statewide Planning and Research Cooperative System. Continued design and implementation of modifications to database and data collection fields. Maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning. Generating reports. Conduct queries and data analyses. Requested Qualifications Minimum of 60 months experience in Access database design and table relationships Minimum of 60 months proficiency in ensuring valid data entry Minimum of 60 months programming experience in Visual Basic Minimum of 60 months expertise in data upload to Access database, creating new tables linked to existing tables Minimum of 60 months proficiency in SQL queries and macros Minimum of 60 months experience in writing user guides to instruct the end-user on how to navigate the database, gather requirements from the users and incorporate them into the database.
