The Raleigh Level 1 support team is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of Server, Web and Database technology infrastructure across Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific as a Global Service. *MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE* Required 5 years experience supporting second level production support for Enterprise Storage in Investment Banking. Hands-on expertise with SAN & NAS architecture, configuration, administration, provisioning & troubleshooting with technologies from: EMC (Symmetrix, DMX, CLARiiON, Centerra, Celerra), 3Par, Hitachi (USP-V), Brocade, Cisco, McData, NetApp and Acopia/F5. Individual must be highly process oriented (ITIL certification preferred) with a focus on metrics tracking for Change Mgt, Incident Mgt & Problem Mgt, End User Support, Audit / LCD Compliance / IT Risk / Corp Security review, Release & Config Mgt, Capacity, Provisioning & Supply chain Mgt, Event Mgt, Vendor Mgt. Individual should possess project & program management expertise with a focus on delivery execution & excellence. Tracking delivery milestones, timelines, resources & related budgets. Individual is expected to work as a remote team member, collaborating with other team members in NYC office. The ability to manage an individual book and maintain consistent team interaction is critical. - Individual must be comfortable with evening and/or weekend work hours to accommodate common change activities and participate in an on-call rotation schedule *SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES (e.g. shifts, travel overseas, hours)* Position requires shift work on a rotating schedule which includes early, late, weekend, and holiday coverage. Support coverage for this site will be from 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week. *PERSON SPECIFICATION* *EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:* *Essential Desirable *Bachelor in Computer Science or Engineering *WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND* *Essential Desirable *5 years experience in Storage SAN/NAS 2 years experience in financial industry *TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE* *Essential Desirable *.
