Proactively come out with gaps in understanding and initiate discussions with customer SMEs to close the gaps. Document understanding gained, where needed. * Take part in discussions with business on new functionalities to be built in. Understand user requirements and come out with corresponding functional and non-functional system requirements. Document the same. * Help in coming out with project plan for delivering solution design, context diagrams and technical specification and in explaining risks and dependencies to customer stakeholders * Provide the team architectural guidelines based on which they have to create the deliverables. * Guide team in coming out with optimized solution design and related context diagrams for implementing the requirements on the existing system. * Guide team in coming out with optimized technical specifications based on finalized solution design and context diagrams. * Perform problem analysis, design and documentation of problem solutions where needed. * Participate in review of solution design, context diagrams and technical specification documents. * Articulate ideas clearly and get involved in discussions with customer SMEs on explaining the solution. * Take overall ownership of the project deliverables and explaining the deliverables and getting signoff on the same from customer SMEs * Guide the team sitting at offshore technically and ensure that they are brought up-to-date on the system.
