They will write code and perform programming, testing, and debugging of software applications, maintain existing applications for maintenance of business, and analyze methods to efficiently address software system requirements. This individual will finalize forms, procedures, and documentations needed for installation and maintenance of application programs and will practice good software engineering techniques and standards to minimize coding errors and ensure robustness and efficiency of work products. The successful candidate will partner with software teams in the development of software engineering processes, participate in software project meetings and provide status reports. They will interface with internal IT staff including Quality Assurance, Software Architects and others and work with Operations and business partners to add new or custom features to company products. As a key player, they will need to assume full end-to-end accountability and responsibility for assigned tasks as well as the end production delivery. In addition they will apply software engineering and Object Oriented Design principles as well as utilize UML based design documents and code to create or enhance software. Speciality areas: Denied claims reporting, Management (DCRM). Design, development, and unit testing of new functionality as well as modifications to existing functionality. JAVA Web application, development using J2EE technologies, Java scripting, HTML, JSP/SERVLET, Object Oriented design and development patterns. PL/SQL skills a plus.
