Business Analyst/QA
-This is a 100% QA/Analytical role with heavy business exposure
-Understanding all test strategy is critical….
-Running of all processes is a must to become familiar to what is going on
-Project is working with Credit Risk with exposure to FX, Credit Derivatives
and Commodities and heavy exposure to these markets is now a MUST
-QA regression and testing to enhance system is a must as well as identify
bugs, etc
-Tech skills = writing SQL (ad hoc/data structure, etc) and expert in excel
to compare data between the systems
-100% interaction with users including risk architecture and quantitative
teams
*Responsibilities:*
We are looking for a QA/Business System Analyst to assist in the testing of
the credit risk exposure management system. This is a contract position for
12 months in the Risk Systems group.
Tasks include test planning and test execution.
Test Planning includes :
a. Coordinating with the DBAs, SAs, Putting a Test Approach and
Coordinating with Development, Application Support and Business team
Test Execution involves coordinating in
1. setting up the test environment – Application Server, File Server,
Databases
2. Integration testing of interfaces (batch process: 20% of overall test
execution), GUI testing (5 % of overall test execution), regression test /
reconciliation of Production and Test feeds (25%), coordinating with Vendor
system and testing the application (10%), *Validation of Data (70%)* **
.
*Requirements:*
A minimum of 5 years experience in integration testing, *system testing
(data analysis),* regression testing and UAT. Of which, at least 3 years of
experience has to be in Risk Systems or any other group within Investment/
Wholesale Banking**
Technical requirements include: testing in UNIX environment, Strong SQL
skills, Excel**
Candidates should demonstrate commitment to tasks, flexible, hardworking and
highly motivated, possess a good attitude, and have good communications
skills (both written and verbal) and a strong interest in understanding the
business process. Teamwork and interpersonal skill are critical.
*Knowledge of Capital Markets is required.*
Credit Risk Management is a plus.
