This is Sunil from Burgeon IT Services, we are an IT consulting organization and We do have a vacancy with our Prime Customer in which you may be interested, Kindly review the details and if you find it interesting do send an updated copy of your updated resume to [email protected] *Position: **AIX** /Linux admin* *Location: **Atlanta,GA* *Duration : 6 months* *Exp: 8+ Years* *Aix JD* • Install, configure, and administer AIX v5.2/5.3/6.1 on RS/6000 midrange series servers like P510/520/550/570/595 • Expertise in AIX 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 6.1 and 7.1 • Design and manage disk space using AIX Logical Volume management • Create and modify file systems, Logical Volume, Physical Volumes, Volume Group • Export and import non root volume groups across servers • User and File system management and administration • Install the OS patches and update the ML levels as per the requirements • Backup and restore of mksysb from NIM server • Use performance monitoring tools like topas, iostat, vmstat, netstat etc • Set up NFS servers, export shares to clients and perform NFS mounts • Diagnose hardware issues such as disks and other hot swappable devices and replace if faulty • Direct the operating system installation, configuration and migration of numerous AIX systems to new hardware that increase the capability and complexity of the environment • Expertise on NFS and NIM administration and installation • Expertise on cluster service management (CSM) technologies like CSM, HACMP • Create VIO server with Dual VIO server Environment with SEA configuration • LPAR/DLPAR/WPAR Administration, creation and deletion of LPAR/WPAR • Dynamic Allocation and De-allocation of Hardware resources • LPAR Profile creation • Build LPAR, DLPAR machines on Managed servers. Add managed servers to HMC, HMC administration, create and modify partition profiles, perform operations on LPAR machines • HMC Powering managed systems - Start, stop, and reset logical partitions. Detect, report, and store changes in hardware conditions • HMC version and patch upgrade • VIO administration and configuration • Shall scripting • Python/Perl scripting would be added advantage. *Linux JD* • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux Servers(Redhat5/6/7/Suse/Centos) • Experience managing and troubleshooting Linux servers in production environment. • Proficient with network tools such as iptables. • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as Xen/KVM etc. • Provide hands on technical support related to the overall health and maintenance of the Linux operating environments in support of 24/7 operations • Perform remote monitoring of server/system health and status of servers • Plan and execute the installation and configuration of Linux/UNIX server operating environments within the data centers • Design and execute disaster recovery plans • Experience in configuration, installation, administration, deploying, patching, troubleshooting and maintenance of network services such as DNS, DHCP, NIS and NFS on Red Hat Linux and SuSE, SAMBA, LDAP, FTP, NFS, NAGIOS • Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet), NIS, DNS, NFS, DHCP, SMTP. • Should have proven experience in GPFS, EXT3, EXT4, XFS. • Experiencing in planning and scheduling periodical maintenance for all hardware. • Expertise knowledge on LVM and RAID(s/w and H/w) • Good knowledge on VXVM • Should have good experience on Cluster solutions like Redhat cluster and VCS. • Should have scripting experience(Shell,Python,Perl) • Knowledge of the Linux kernel and kernel modules. • Good experience on Kickstart and PXE installation. • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BIND, LDAP, networking, Firewall rules(SELinux). • Good understanding of Storage terminology. • Good to have knowledge on Cloud(IaaS) *Thanks & Regards* *Sunil* *Executive Recruiter | Talent Acquisition Team* Phone No. : : 302-524-7213 ; 302-371-9586: Fax : 302-355-1559 Email Id: [email protected] NOTE: We respect your Online Privacy.
