We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a Sr. Linux
Engineer opportunity with on of our clients in the Saint Louis area. This
is a* 6-12 month contract*. We can *pay 55/hr *for this candidate,
depending on experience. Candidates need to have experience in Lead
roles at *fortune 500 companies*. Communication skills need to be
excellent. *Send your best candidates, do not send them until you've
screened them for the things listed below!: *
*Screen for (Candidates need to have):*
-Need to have dealt with at least 100 Linux instances.
-Authenication Sercives experience
-Deployment and provisioning
-Strong patch management (YUM is not enough)
-Red Hat Satellite experience
-Experience developing Kick Start files
-Experience with Red Hat "Directory Service"
-Need to have Standard Build experience for an OS
*Requirements:*
- Experienced in deploying RHEL 5x in an enterprise setting
- Strong understanding of patch management and methods to manage it
for RHEL
- Strong knowledge of provisioning, must have experience with automate
solutions for RHEL
- Adept at designing RHEL for DR, best practices
- Knowledgeable in leveraging ESX for RHEL
- Solid understanding of supporting Oracle 9x, 10x & 11 on RHEL & AIX
- Ideal candidate will have experience with SAP and Oracle RAC on RHEL
- Needs to have design and build of Directory Services for Linux, AIX,
Solaris with AD Integration
- Must have experience creating / implementing a monitoring strategy
for Linux platform
- Should be familiar with Satellite server
- Must be familiar with HACMP 5.x
- Must be familiar with VIO
- Practical experience in AIX versions 5.3 and 6.1
- Ideally will have migrated from 5.2 to 5.4 for HACMP
- Has experience with NIM setup and maintenance
- Likely will have experience with micro partitioning
- HMC version 7
