RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Part of a team responsible for the development of embedded software for products in accordance with our Software Development Process; • Participating in the development of software requirements specifications and software functional specifications; • Coordinating and participating in software design and code reviews/inspections; • Supporting existing software for the controller product line; • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and budgets; • Documenting and archiving software program releases in accordance with the Software Development Process. REQUIREMENTS 1. This person must have exceptionally good software design and programming skills in C/C++. *2. **Must have a strong working knowledge of real-time design and embedded operating systems. * 3. We require a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline with *7+ years of software engineering experience*. 4. Knowledge of the entire product development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, test and deployment) is needed. 5. Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with the proven ability to interact with other disciplines outside of engineering are a must. 6. Experience in a CMM/CMMI Level 3 or higher organization are preferred. 7.
