Position: Web Development Business Analyst Location: Lenexa KS
Duration: Contract - 6 plus months This is not a development role though the contractor will be working with the development team. This person would be considered more of a BA/ Project Manager or Project Lead/ Scrum Master and good communication skills as well as someone who is detail oriented is a requirement. Please note that this person will be needed most likely through the end of Feb. The manager prefers on site interviews, so please make sure the candidate is available for this. *Position Responsibilities*: • Confer with clients, systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to obtain and document system requirements. • Maintain a requirements traceability matrix and other requirements related documents throughout the life of the project. • Modify existing software requirements to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new business rules or logic. • Document or participate in software system testing and validation procedures. *Required Project Skills: * • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. • Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. • Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. • Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. • Technology Design - Generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs. • Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills – Communicating in a clear, effective and professional manner to address client and end user needs.
