Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title: Gameplay Software Engineer
Years of Experience & Expertise Level: 3+ years
Project Description: Game development project exhibiting innovative game
technology for client's next generation graphics system.
Daily Responsibilities:
Work closely with designers and other engineers to enhance and optimize our
gameplay systems and produce innovative game technology for Intel's next
generation graphics. Responsibilities include adding and refining gameplay
behavior and optimizing systems to fulfill the needs of our game production
team.
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
a.. 3+ years of professional C/C++ development
b.. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of 3D graphics rendering or
physics simulati on
c.. Experience developing systems for 1st or 3rd person shooter game titles
d.. Independent problem solving capability and willingness to work on own
initiatives
e.. Experience with debug and profiling tools
f.. BS in Computer Science, Physics or comparable experience
g.. Ability to work on a team and communicate well
h.. Experience programming DirectX/HLSL graphics
i.. Experience with modern revision control tools such as perforce,
subversion, bug tracking tools, and others
j.. Familiar with Script programming such as Python or Lua
k.. Interest in the other areas of game development - writing game
applications, tools or game engines
