*Job Title* : Business Analyst - Healthcare *Relevant Experience (Yrs) * : This Business Intelligence BA will be responsible for acting as the primary interface between technology and specific product areas (business executives, clinicians, research analysts, IT staff, etc.). S/he will identify business requirements, create project and process specifications, and will help coordinate information for project teams. S/he must be knowledgeable of both technology processes (e.g. SDLC, QA) and the business area supported. S/he will also serve as the liaison between the business team and the development team to see project through from beginning to end. *Technical/Functional Skills * : - Strong Business Process Analysis Skills - Work with end users to gather specifications for data and report requirements - Effectively translate end user reporting requirements into technical design documents - Create, Maintain, Optimize and support new and existing complex reports - Conduct report testing and validation - Systematically identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives and implement effective solutions - Should have understanding of Disease Management, and Healthcare claims processes *Experience Required* Must have work experience in the following: - 10+ years of overall experience - At least 5-7 years experience in information systems, including 3+ years experience with healthcare claims data - 3+ years of reporting analysis, report development, and/or data warehousing - Good solid understanding of databases, SQL and Health Care claims data is required. - Experience using Metadata Management, Data Quality and Data Profiling tool is a huge plus *Roles & Responsibilities* : - Identify and resolve challenges to fulfill key corporate and respond to change management demands - Maintain an excellent understanding of requirements determination, data organizational structures, testing approaches, report design and development, relevant health care issues and industry initiatives *Generic Managerial Skills*** : - Able to work directly with multiple stakeholders (both IT and Business) to gather and refine requirements and communicate reporting capabilities in a collaborative and constructive manner. - Excellent analytical, data management, planning, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent ability to read data models and to understand database table relationship. - Excellent project management and consultative skills. - Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Must be self-motivated and able to work independently within a team environment. *Education *** : Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field of study *Work Location*** : Brookfield, WI -- Looking forward to work with you!
