The Data Analyst will perform analysis on the existing systems, identify gaps when compared to requirements, present the results to management and assist in solution development. Additionally, the Data Analyst will design the control points with the tools provided. Project progress will be presented to Senior Management on weekly and ad hoc status calls along with project milestones, risks and issues. The Data Analyst will work with the Enterprise Risk Management team to analyze business requirements outlined to adhere to BCBS 239 compliance for various risk data related projects. The Data Analyst will perform analysis on the existing systems, identify gaps when compared to requirements, present the results to management and assist in solution development. Additionally, the Data Analyst will design the control points with the tools provided. Project progress will be presented to Senior Management on weekly and ad hoc status calls along with project milestones, risks and issues. 1. Ability to query DBs using SQL 2. Experience in reporting on dimensions and the hierarchy data 3. Advanced knowledge level regarding data analysis in Excel 1. SQL knowledge to run queries against databases for data analysis. 2. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (macros, lookups, etc.) and PowerPoint. 3. Strong Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile,…). 4. Requirements Analysis (BRD, SRS, User stories, Backlog, etc..). 5. Requirements management (Source To Target Mapping, RASCI Matrix, SWOT Analysis). 6. Ability to perform GAP and Impact Analysis 7. Experience in financial services risk environment, with Regulatory Systems and BCBS 239 Compliance. 8. Knowledge of Fixed Income and Equity Products. Interview process: Phone screen followed by in-person interviews. Person will have to come for in-person interview.
