***Title: Lead UI Developer* *Duration: 12 plus months contract* *Location: Boca Raton, FL* *Responsibilities:* Ø Will lead/participate in design development of transactional e-commerce website and tools Ø Will collaborate with a team of Java developers to design and implement state of the art, e-commerce applications Ø Ability to review existing e-commerce applications and design/implement richer and user friendly functionalities. Ø Will work with a team of developers and business analysts to ensure quality and timely project completion Ø Must have the ability to understand and capture business/technical requirements and translate them into functional and design elements Ø Will maintain and enhance e-commerce sites as per requirements Ø Must have the ability to think out of the box and design concrete, robust and scalable solutions ***Required Skills:* Ø 4+ years of experience designing customer facing websites utilizing technologies such as CSS, CSS 3.0, HTML, HTML 5, XHTML and using image sprites Ø Strong working knowledge of Photoshop or other design tools like GIMP, Adobe Photoshop Express etc. Ø Excellent XHTML skills and extensive knowledge about the utilization and appropriate usage of CSS classes and ID’s Ø Working knowledge / hands-on experience with managing maintainable, scalable and specifically cross-browser compatible code Ø Understanding of Source Control Principles and working experience with Subversion, Clear Case or CVS Ø Seasoned developer with experience developing Content Rich, User Friendly, highly interactive e-Commerce websites.
