This staff will act as backup to that employee for production support. * *We have a requirement to upgrade the SQL Server Databases (300 databases on 30+ servers) from versions 2000 and 2005 to version 2008. * *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* *Required Skills: * *recent professional experience as an MS SQL Server Database Administrator Required 7 Years * *Expert administration skills with MS SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, and 2012 Required 7 Years * *Expert with database/schema design Required 7 Years * *Professional experience with data modeling tools Required 7 Years * *Professional experience with CA ERwin is a plus Highly desired 7 Years * *Expert with SQL (DML and DDL) and Transact SQL Required 7 Years * *Expert with altering databases/schemas, including but not limited to creating/altering tables, constraints, indexes, grants, and sequences Required 7 Years * *Expert with change control Required 7 Years * *Professional experience with clustered servers under MS Cluster Services. Required 7 Years * *Professional experience with database monitoring tools (Idera, Big Brother/Hobbit/Xymon). Required 7 Years * *Professional experience loading legacy data from mainframe systems (via DTS, SSIS, BCP, and/or scripting technologies (VBScript, JavaScript)) Required 7 Years * *Performance tuning T-SQL Stored Procedures and SQL statements Required 7 Years * *Professional experience using SQL Profiler, Query Analyzer, and Management Studio to identify performance issues. Required 7 Years * *Ability to assist other teams in stress-testing applications, locating bottlenecks, and recommending solutions.
